When I reflect on what it means to be a therapist, the words that resonate for me are hope, healing, connection, and wholeness. I became a therapist to help people move into the lived experience of the truth and experience of these words. My desire is for every person I work with to discover the fullness of life. Yet, I also recognize that life is not without its challenges. Suffering, loss, trauma, and disconnection are part of the human experience. While these experiences can be profoundly difficult, they can also become the foundation for transformative healing and growth.

I approach everyone I work alongside with genuine respect, curiosity, and a commitment to understanding their individual story. My training in Somatic Experiencing, a trauma-healing modality that incorporates the body’s knowing into the therapeutic process, allows me to take a holistic approach to healing. I integrate Somatic Experiencing to help you process overwhelming or traumatic experiences through embodiment. We’ll explore how your experiences are shaping your emotions, your psyche, your nervous system, your body, and your relationships. I also continue to expand my understanding with embodiment practices, such as Integral Somatic Psychology (ISP), which focuses on processing emotions at the physical level.

I believe that making sense of our experiences is essential for understanding the past, embracing the present, and moving toward the future. However, I also know that focusing solely on the mind can leave us feeling stuck, especially when we neglect other aspects of our being. We are not meant to be reduced to just one part of ourselves—our minds and bodies are interconnected. Clarity and healing come from honoring both.

My goal is to support and guide people toward healing, not just coping. While coping strategies are important, they are not enough to create systemic change. Healing is a process that requires time, energy, and courage, but I have seen firsthand that it is possible. As a therapist, I am creating the conditions where people can experience healing within themselves. My role is to create a safe and supportive space where this process can unfold. Being seen, heard, and understood in this way is powerful, and it is my privilege to accompany everyone I work with on their healing journey.
