Elysa White

MSW, SWLC, SEP

I believe that each person holds an innate capacity for healing, growth, and self-discovery, even in moments that feel overwhelming, stuck, or disconnected. Life's experiences—both painful and beautiful—shape our nervous system and the ways we move through the world. Through a somatic lens, these patterns are not problems to be fixed, but adaptive responses that can be gently understood, supported, and transformed.

I offer a warm, supportive space where you can slow down and meet yourself exactly where you are. Grounded in mind-body practices, such as Somatic Experiencing, I take a holistic approach that honors the wisdom of your body, nervous system, and your internal knowing. Together, we will explore your experiences with curiosity and care, allowing what has been held beneath the surface to emerge at a manageable.

Healing unfolds in environments where you feel supported, witnessed, and not rushed. My intention is to create a space where your nervous system can settle—where all parts of your experience, including challenge, resilience, pain, and joy, are welcome. In this space, we begin to build capacity: the ability to be with what is present while also discovering new possibilities for regulation, connection, and choice.

My approach is rooted in relational presence and attunement. I walk alongside you as a guide, supporting you in developing a deeper relationship with your internal world—your sensations, emotions, and patterns—while honoring your unique pace and process. Together, we cultivate the ability to hold the fullness of your life, expanding your capacity to experience both difficulty and beauty with greater ease and integration.

If you are feeling anxious or depressed, navigating a life transition, or curious about deepening your connection with yourself, we can begin exactly where you are. You don't have to do this alone; I would be honored to support you in this process. I’m working under Andy Lear’s MSW, LCSW, SEP clinical supervision.
